New Year 2019 :Trying to reclaim my attention span

I am sitting here in my tiny new room , just a few minutes past 12 am, entering the last day of 2018.

I am wasting precious minutes on youtube and I see Pewdiepie's video oon my feed about how he read 722 books in 2018.

Serendipity ?

He describes exactly what I had complained about in my previous post , this inability to sit down and focus on a task long enough to be able to complete it. This temptation to give up on something as soon as it turns boring.

So taking inspiration from him and combining it with my own desire to get back to my childhood habit of reading, I have decided to set a new goal for 2019 - to read a book a week.

The coming year is going to be pretty busy for me, so honestly I am not sure if I will actually be able to accomplish this. But nothing would make me happier than setting a finite goal and successfully accomplishing it in the time frame I have set for it ( something I have been struggling to do in the past couple of years for various reasons).

Let 2019 be the year of books !

My first book that I wish to finish will be Man's Search For Meaning by Dr Victor Frankl. I am already several pages into this book. The primary goal is to finish it. I will also be underlining (and maybe sharing) interesting ideas from the book. But finishing it will be the main goal.

Target date for finishing : 6/1/2019
